15 Months

My daughter, she is an enormous character! She is so full of life and stubbornness and personality and cunning. She's a smart little thing. Always watching, taking in, analyzing, copying. She is funny too. She likes to 'jump' out and yell 'suh-pize!' and run after you making growling monster noises. At the doctor this week, she was pointing to the mural on the wall and I said "that's a starfish!" She said "RAWR!!" So, I guess that is the noise starfish make!

She's been sleeping great except for the last couple nights since she got her shots. I hope it is related, I am looking forward to returning to solid nights of sleep! She still loves to eat lots of anything and everything we give her. She squaks to make sure she is given the same food at the same time as her siblings. She LOVES to read. She is so cute, turning the pages, telling me all about them in her own little language.

She loves to give baby dolls big kisses on the foreheads. This makes me happy to see a gentle side to her. I love it when she give the baby from Abbie's doll house a big kiss and her lips are twice as big as the little baby's head. She's started to get a BIG attitude. She has recently started throwing herself on the ground when I take something away from her. It is hysterical! (only because she hasn't done it in public yet).

We went to disneyland a couple weeks ago, and it was the first time that she really recognized that we were someplace FUN! She had a great time on the Ariel ride! She was sitting next to Abbie, Abbie was yelling "THERE'S ARIEL MOMMY!" every three seconds, and Ellie was right there with her, pointing and jabbering at the top of her lungs. It was so much fun! I'm so excited that the kids are getting older and we can do more fun things than ever before -- or at least do them with less draining of my energy and patience.

Greg is going to start working from home two days a week. I have mixed feelings because it throws me a little off balance... things are different when he is around, the kids act differently, I act differently, and I don't love that I can't take a shower whenever I want because he is working in our room. Aside from that, it's been pretty awesome to be able to leave napping Ellie at home while the other kids and I get some things taken care of away from home.

My grandparents are coming to visit in a few hours!! Need to take a shower and get ready to go pick them up!! :)
